Accelerate Fund III announces Yasmine Al-Hussein as new Investment Analyst

CALGARY, AB – January 14, 2021Yaletown Partners, the team co-managing Alberta’s $15M Accelerate Fund III and $10M Accelerate Fund II today announced Yasmine Al-Hussein as its new Investment Analyst for Alberta Enterprise’s early stage angel co-investment fund.  There are 12 companies in the Fund II and Fund III portfolios today, and the fund co-managers, Yaletown Partners and The A100, will be actively investing in more Alberta startups in 2021.

She has direct experience with the Alberta startup community, has demonstrated she can connect with and build trust with entrepreneurs through to investors and government leaders, and she has solid analytical and project management expertise.”

Prior to joining Yaletown, Yasmine was a Deal Screening Analyst for Startup TNT, the tech startup community that brings together entrepreneurs, scientists, investors, innovators and startup supporters in Edmonton and Calgary to share stories and build great companies. Alongside her work with Accelerate Fund, Yasmine continues to participate in the Alberta Tech Forum, an event organizer and online forum platform for professionals in the local tech community and members of industry from mid-to-large sized companies in oil & gas, power generation, agriculture, forestry through to financial services. Yasmine recently completed her MBA from University of Alberta, following a degree in Business Economics and Law.
